Aurora Hackathon
2023

Healthcare Technologies for the Arctics

May 14-16

Multidisciplinary Building

Tel Aviv university

About Us

The theme of the Aurora Hackathon is developing healthcare methods and technologies that will enable to provide clinical care to remote and underserved communities. This applies to Greenland but it also applied to any other remote and hard to reach areas where clinical care is not readily accessible. It will contribute to the well being of these communities, even in remote and secluded areas.

A set of projects are proposed by researchers from Tel Aviv University, Johns Hopkins University and Hospitals. The registered students will be grouped  and choose one of the projects. The proposers will meet the group a week before the event and explain the tasks and requirements. During the Hackathon the group of students will work on the project and propose  solutions. The project proposals will be available for consultation throughout the event. In the last two hours of the Hackathon, the groups will present their work to a panel of judges. The panel will grade the presentations at the end of the session.
